Improved Instruction
Improving Instruction with feedback and S-CAP: Resources are guiding the teaching instead of a curriculum. We are doing a intensive walk through process with feedback. Also, we have been accepted to the S-CAP process in the State of Colorado Our root cause is we have low academic achievement. Therefore, we want to concentrate on teaching/mastery of critical content. We hope this content delivery, and standards mastery will help our achievement.
Success looks like this- All teachers will use an embedded process to create a viable curriculum. We have an outside curriculum specialist coming to our staff PLC days. The success will be when each teacher identifies their critical content. That will be based in a an electronic document for pacing. The success criteria is when each teacher has a unified and viable curriculum based off the state/national standards. This will be a roadmap for each teaching quarter (semester). The curriculum will help all our students. Also, this will help with MTSS with attendance/GT students.
