CTE Month takes us into Family & Consumer Sciences!
In this class, students are building practical life skills that last far beyond graduation. From culinary techniques and nutrition to budgeting, career exploration, child development, and sewing, FCS gives students hands-on experiences that prepare them for both the workforce and everyday life.
Family & Consumer Sciences empowers students to become confident decision-makers, creative thinkers, and responsible leaders in their homes and communities. We’re proud of the skills they’re developing and the real-world connections they’re making every day and Thank You Mrs. Cyphers for leading the way for our students!

In Woodshop, students are learning hands-on skills that build more than just projects , they’re building confidence, problem-solving abilities, creativity, and real-world career readiness. From measuring and design to tool safety and craftsmanship, our students are gaining practical experience that can lead to careers in construction, carpentry, engineering, and beyond.

We will be having a middle school dance on this Thursday Feb 19. 2026 from 7:30pm-10:30pm. Location Athletic Wing. Cost-Free Entry. Only middle school kids from Sierra Grande are allowed to attend. Parents are allowed to watch the dance if they want.
