Our Middle and High School Combined Ensembles have the wonderful opportunity this upcoming April 18th to perform at a festival that is sponsored by the Colorado Bandmasters Association. This event will be held in Alamosa at Ortega Middle School. This is the first step into potential future participation in music competitions for our school. At this event there will be a strict dress code expectation for all participants. It is expected that our students wear concert black. This means business casual black pants, shoes, socks, pants, and a button down shirt or blouse. Black skirts are allowed but must be below the knee in length and worn with black tights. All attire must follow our SGSD Handbook for dress code purposes. If you are unable to purchase the proper attire for the event, please let Ms. Richardson know no later than Thursday, March 27th (3/27) at 4:00 pm. Please be on the lookout in the near future for information about travel and food. We look forward to seeing you and your students at the event. Have a wonderful and safe spring break!
