📢 COMMUNITY INPUT MEETING: CELL PHONE POLICY 📢
Sierra Grande School District Invites You!

Join us for an important community conversation about our student cell phone policy. Your voice matters as we review our current guidelines and consider potential updates.

Date: Tuesday, May 12 from 5:00 – 6:00 PM in the Innovation Lab

What to Expect:
We will review our current cell phone policy and gather input from students, families, staff, and community members. Feedback will help guide any recommended changes presented to the school board.

Why Now?
Colorado lawmakers recently passed a bipartisan bill (HB25-1135) requiring all school districts to adopt, implement, and publish a policy on student cell phone and smartwatch use during the school day by July 1, 2026. The goal is to reduce classroom distractions and support student mental health, while allowing districts to decide what works best for their community.

Have a Voice in the Future of Our School!
We hope to see you there!

For more information, please contact the district office.

Here’s a look back at last Thursday’s assembly—captured by our very own Ms. Alex 📸

It’s not often we get PreK–12 all together in the same room, but when we do, the Panther Pride is unmatched! 🐾 From our youngest learners to our seniors, the energy in the room was something special.

Showing up matters—and moments like these are a great reminder that attendance isn’t just about being present in class, it’s about being part of a community. Let’s keep that momentum going, Panthers! 💪

👏🎉 Panther Pride in Action! 🎉👏

Sierra Grande Schools is proud to recognize these outstanding K–12 Panthers for their excellent attendance this school year! Showing up every day is more than just being present, it’s about building strong habits, staying connected, and making the most of every learning opportunity.

At Sierra Grande, we know that attendance matters. Every day in the classroom helps our students grow academically, socially, and emotionally and these Panthers have led the way with dedication and commitment.

Keep showing up and setting the standard, once a Panther, always a Panther! 💙📚🐾 #PantherPride #AttendanceMatters #SierraGrande
