After working closely with local law enforcement and school officials, we have determined that our school district and facilities are safe. Following a thorough sweep, we plan to have a regular school day tomorrow, Wednesday, November 12th. There will be an increased law enforcement presence in the area for added safety.

Earlier today, the district was informed that a mountain lion was seen in the area near school grounds. Out of an abundance of caution, the school went into SECURE for a short period of time while officials assessed the situation. Local authorities have advised us that the animal is moving away from the school.
School will dismiss at the regular time, and there is no immediate danger to students or staff. We encourage everyone to remain aware of their surroundings and report any future sightings to local authorities.
