'The Ancestors and Futurists Tour' is part of 'Future Town Tour', a project boldly reimagining the future of the American West through inspired rural and urban partnerships, utilizing the arts to resurrect the spirit of civics. The tour stop at Fort Garland features music, dance, poetry, visual arts, stargazing, performance artists, and open civic discourse connecting the past, present, and future of Fort Garland and the San Luis Valley.
Featured artists and performers include Molina Speaks (poetry), Aaron Abeyta (poetry), Ballet Folklorico del Valle (dance), Felix Fast4Ward Ayodele (music), Zadia (music) and more!
Program is free and dinner (and warm cookies) are provided.
Sierra Grande hosted the monthly SAC meeting on Tuesday. The agenda was full of learning opportunities for superintendents and BOCES staff from the SLV and South Central. Thank you to all that participated. #pantherpride
